I haven't been to PF Changs in years but the wife and I didn't feel like cooking so we thought we'd give it a go. Very excited a location opened so close to home! Some older reviews scared me a bit but we were very pleasantly surprised. I'll preface by saying we ordered for delivery through Uber so I can't comment on the pick-up or walk-in situation. They offer family meals for two, four, and six. The al a carte prices are definitely high but the family meals offer a good deal. It was just two of us but ordered the meal for four to have leftovers. The meal comes with the signature lettuce wraps, a choice of two entrees with white or brown rice, and then a choice of a large order of fried rice or lo mein (chicken or veggie). Everything for four is $56 on Uber. Considering single entrees are around $20 a piece, it's a steal. As for the quality, I wasn't disappointed! The lettuce wraps were restaurant quality and tasted consistent. There was more than enough lettuce and meat and both were fresh. For the entrees we went with the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. The beef was bangin!! It was super tender and you can tell they use a good quality meat. The chicken was good too and definitely a cut above the corner Chinese food places. It was lightly battered, fried, and coated in a sweet orangey sauce. Both entrees were packed with a generous portion of white rice. We also chose the chicken lo mein. It didn't have too much chicken in it but considering it was a side dish, the portion felt fair. It was typical lo mein, nothing fancy, but still tasty. Overall, a delicious decision for when you don't feel like cooking!! As I stated, I haven't eaten in a PF Changs in a while so I can't really compare the two experiences. I will say that the food was fresh and tasted high quality as should be expected from anything carrying the brand name (and price point!). It isn't somewhere I'll be going everyday but for a date night in or special occasion, it's definitely worth visit!
Nice little PF Changs. Went in to order and waited about 25 minutes for it to be ready. It does get busy even on a Monday night. One thing I really like about this restaurant is that while sitting there you could see how hard the employees were working -- the lady taking the orders was running around taking phone calls and helping customers that came in. Very polite and hardworking -- it makes an impression! We ordered the dumplings and the green beans as appetizers and they were delicious, definitely recommend! We also ordered the Lo Mein with chicken, Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. I highly recommend but the meat is cut a little thicker than I am used to with Chinese food -- good just a warning.
